The Role
We are looking for a Treasury Manager to lead on cash management, cash flow forecasting and treasury controls. This is a new permanent role with the opportunity to shape how we manage cash, improve treasury processes and support sound financial decision-making across the organisation.
You will create cash flow models, identify opportunities to maximise interest generation and help reduce foreign exchange risk. You will also support key banking activities, payment controls and process improvements, while managing up to two members of the finance team.
This role is ideal for someone with solid financial accounting experience who enjoys improving processes, working with detail and helping teams deliver accurate and timely outputs. Your work will directly support Energy Saving Trust to use its funds effectively and continue delivering impact towards a low carbon future.
The Team
You will join our Finance, Risk and Compliance team, which supports the organisation to manage funds responsibly, strengthen financial controls and make informed decisions. The team plays an important role in helping Energy Saving Trust deliver trusted services and programmes that support people, communities and organisations to reduce carbon emissions.
What You Will Do
- Lead cash flow forecasting, cash management and treasury reporting to support effective financial planning.
- Manage deposits and identify opportunities to maximise interest generation for Energy Saving Trust and client funds.
- Check and authorise payments, including supplier payments, grants, loans, credit cards and inter-account transfers.
- Oversee key banking tasks, including mandates, security, compliance and ongoing process improvements.
- Line manage up to two members of the finance team and support accurate, timely delivery of finance activities.

What You Will Bring
- Experience working in a financial accounting team, with a good understanding of finance processes and controls.
- Experience of cash flow management, forecasting, reporting and delivering interest generation activity.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to support people and manage team outputs effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate, error-free work.
- Confidence using finance systems and improving processes to increase accuracy and timeliness.
