Embrace Excellence

The specialised and business critical role of Treasury Manager is responsible for the management of all Treasury front office operational activities including overseeing global liquidity; management of foreign exchange, execution of treasury deals; and the statutory and management reporting of treasury transactions. The role will also provide support to businesses on treasury matters and support and deputise for the Corporate Treasurer, when necessary.

Make an Impact

  • Manage day to day global treasury front office operations including foreign exchange, cash and debt dealing
  • Help ensure the availability of funds in appropriate currencies to meet day to day commitments
  • Manage Group’s cash and borrowings to minimise the Group’s cost of debt and protect the group from the adverse movements in foreign exchange and interest rates
  • Support the development of treasury systems, including the online dealing platform, Kyriba Treasury Management System and confirmation matching systems, including the delivery of necessary training within the treasury function and wider business
  • Continue to leverage technology to automate bank reconciliation, reporting and other treasury processes
  • Promote and execute operational improvement initiatives and performance measures both at Group Treasury and in the treasury processes followed by the businesses
  • Support the preparation of Board and Treasury Committee papers; and treasury and funding plans
  • Deliver treasury statutory, management and ad hoc reporting, including monitoring hedge positions under IFRS 9 and provide accounting data for the finance function
  • Deliver interest, foreign exchange and other treasury related forecasts as and when required by the financial planning team
  • Manage and develop two Treasury back-office analysts, overseeing their daily tasks and workflows
  • Motivate, support and stretch direct reports through regular 1:1s with direct reports to discuss performance and development, formally and informally managing employee performance
  • Ensure alignment and delivery of work with regular team meetings to discuss performance and priorities

Your Talent and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will be a CA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified finance professional with post-qualification experience appropriate to the seniority of the position. A treasury qualification (AMCT, MCT or FCT) and previous experience within a Corporate Treasury function would be advantageous. You will possess strong financial and commercial acumen, coupled with experience in leading teams, influencing others and delegating effectively. Excellent collaboration skills are essential, with the ability to build strong working relationships across functions and regions. You will be highly organised, able to work accurately at pace, and remain calm, methodical and positive under pressure. An honest and open approach, together with a strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering on commitments, is critical. You will also demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the gravitas to challenge constructively and hold both internal and external stakeholders to account. Strong communication skills are required, enabling you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, alongside a continuous improvement mindset and advanced Excel and systems capabilities.
