Lotus Cars

Lotus Cars is renowned for crafting world-class, high-performance, and lightweight sports cars that are celebrated across the globe. Lotus Cars Limited serves as the company’s manufacturing HQ in the UK, where we proudly produce iconic models such as the Emira and the all-electric Evija. As we continue to elevate our capabilities and global presence, we are seeking a Treasury Manager to join our dynamic Finance team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hethel.

About the Role

Lotus is looking for an experienced Treasury Manager to join our Finance team at Hethel. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing and overseeing treasury activities across our UK and EU operations, ensuring strong cash visibility, effective liquidity management and robust banking and payment controls.

Working within an international finance environment, you’ll act as a key regional contact for Group Treasury and work closely with Accounting, Accounts Payable, FP&A and Business Finance teams across multiple entities and currencies.

The position also provides operational support for selected day-to-day tax compliance activities, with more complex or technical tax matters supported by the relevant specialists.

What You’ll Be Doing

Cash Management & Liquidity

  • Coordinate short-term cash flow forecasting and drive improvements in forecast accuracy and cash visibility.
  • Analyse cash movements, funding requirements and variances, providing clear insight and recommendations to Finance management and Group Treasury.

Treasury Operations & Funding

  • Manage treasury activities across multiple entities, banks and currencies.
  • Coordinate intercompany funding, including funding requests, settlements, interest and reconciliations.
  • Act as the key regional contact for Group Treasury.
  • Support foreign exchange exposure monitoring and execution processes where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
