About The Role

We are seeking a commercially minded, highly analytical Treasury Manager to join Paysend’s Treasury team in London. This role combines hands-on treasury operations with strategic commercial impact, supporting Paysend’s continued growth through effective liquidity management, funding optimisation, safeguarding oversight, FX operations, and technology-driven process improvement.

The successful candidate will bring strong treasury experience within an EMI, fintech, payments company, or regulated financial services environment, together with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. You will be comfortable working with data to identify opportunities, improve processes, build scalable reporting, and support better decision-making. Knowledge of SQL and Python would be advantageous.

Beyond day-to-day treasury execution, you will play an important role in understanding and improving how treasury decisions influence cash efficiency, funding costs, unit economics, profitability, pricing, and market expansion. You will work closely with Finance, Compliance, Product, Operations, and Commercial teams to optimise cash usage, manage liquidity and financial risk, improve settlement and safeguarding processes, and enable scalable growth across a complex international payments environment.

We are looking for a resilient, proactive doer who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and balance immediate operational priorities with longer-term strategic thinking. You should be curious, data-driven, commercially aware, and comfortable taking ownership of complex problems from analysis through to implementation.

This is an opportunity for someone who combines technical treasury expertise, analytical rigour, commercial judgment, and strong stakeholder management to have a tangible impact on how money moves through a rapidly growing global payments business.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Treasury Operations & Liquidity Management

  • Manage day-to-day group liquidity, cash positioning, cash forecasting, FX operations, and funding flows across accounts, currencies, entities, and jurisdictions.
  • Ensure funds are available and optimised to support customer demand, settlement obligations, operational requirements, and business growth.
  • Monitor and improve liquidity allocation, working capital efficiency, and cash utilisation across the group.
  • Support business continuity by maintaining robust treasury processes, controls, and escalation procedures.

Commercial & Strategic Impact

  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, and Product teams to assess treasury and liquidity implications of new products, regions, partnerships, and pricing decisions.
  • Provide commercial insight into funding costs, FX margins, capital efficiency, working capital optimisation, and liquidity usage.
  • Support pricing, margin improvement, funding optimisation, and market expansion initiatives through treasury analysis and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the company’s banking strategy, including bank partner selection, account structures, liquidity provider relationships, and counterparty optimisation.
  • Support negotiations with banking partners, liquidity providers, and FX counterparties from a commercial, operational, and risk perspective.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
