Treasury Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000 + up to 10% bonus
Location: Cumbria | Hybrid / Remote Flexibility

We are working with a well-established financial services organisation that is looking for a Treasury Manager to join its team. This is a genuinely flexible opportunity, with the organisation open to candidates working remotely for much of the time due to the specialist nature of the role.
The Opportunity
- Salary up to £70,000
- Up to 10% annual bonus based on personal and company performance
- Hybrid working with significant remote flexibility
- Office attendance in Cumbria required around 1–2 times per month as a minimum

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Treasurer, you will play an important role across Treasury, ALM, liquidity, funding and financial risk.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and coordinating the monthly ALCO meeting pack
- Producing Treasury and Economic dashboards for senior management
- Providing analysis, insight and challenge to support decision-making
- Preparing asset and liability forecasts and financial models
- Supporting the development and execution of the hedging strategy
- Overseeing liquidity stress testing and behavioural modelling
- Maintaining and enhancing Treasury Financial Risk Management policies and controls
- Supporting Treasury Back and Middle Office activities
- Providing Treasury input into the Corporate Plan
- Reviewing ALM strategy against relevant peer organisations
- Supporting regulatory reporting, including LCR
- Working closely with Finance, Treasury and other senior stakeholders

What We're Looking For
We are open-minded about background and level of experience for this position. You could be:
- An experienced Treasury Manager looking for a new challenge
- An experienced Treasury or ALM professional ready to step up
- A Treasury Analyst with the technical ability and confidence to take on more responsibility
- A Finance professional with relevant experience looking to move into Treasury
- Someone with a strong banking, financial services or professional services background

Ideally, you will have:
- Experience within Treasury, ALM or Finance
- Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- The ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate it clearly to senior stakeholders
- A relevant accountancy qualification or progress towards one, such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA, or a Treasury qualification such as CertBALM or AMCT
- Sector experience in retail banking, building societies or financial services would be highly desirable.
- Experience or knowledge of areas such as liquidity, funding, capital management, interest rate risk, stress testing, LCR, ILAAP or PRA regulatory reporting would also be beneficial.
The organisation recognises that the Treasury skillset is specialist and is willing to consider candidates from other relevant backgrounds who have the right technical ability, attitude and willingness to learn.
