The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Operations Coordinator to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day treasury operations that support the business's financial activities, ensuring the accurate and timely movement of funds across the organisation.

As the primary point of contact for our banking partners, you will oversee banking administration, cash management, payment processing, and bank reconciliations. You will also play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and banking requirements.

What will you be doing?

  • Process and post daily bank statements, including all receipts and payments
  • Maintain and reconcile corporate card transactions and records
  • Process intercompany payments and ensure accurate accounting
  • Process ad hoc payments for Finance, Management Accounts, and Human Resources
  • Manage customer direct debit collections
  • Update daily cash receipts and bank balance reports
  • Own and maintain rolling cash forecasts
  • Monitor cash positions and manage foreign currency funding requirements
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations accurately and on time
  • Process domestic and international bank transfers
  • Coordinate bank account administration, including mandates, signatories, and banking documentation
  • Perform bank file testing and process related accounting journals where required
  • Support internal and external audits by providing treasury documentation and responding to audit queries
  • Coordinate and support annual Know Your Customer (KYC) and bank compliance activities
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders.

Treasury Analysis & Continuous Improvement

As experience grows within the role, responsibilities will expand to include:

  • Evaluation cash flow trends, liquidity requirements and finding movements
  • Supporting treasury reporting and management insights
  • Identifying opportunities to improve treasury processes and controls
  • Assisting with automation initiatives and system enhancements
  • Supporting foreign exchange and cash optimisation activities.

What do we want from you?

Essential

  • Previous experience in Treasury Operations, Finance Operations, Cash Management, Accounts or similar operations
  • Strong understanding of banking processes and payment operations
  • Experience performing bank reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with banks and internal stakeholders
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Desirable

  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Knowledge of corporate treasury management, cash forecasting money markets or liquidity management
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or international organisation
  • Understanding of intercompany funding, loan interest, foreign exchange and treasury controls
  • Experience supporting financial audits and KYC processes.
