What You’ll Do

Are you an experienced treasury professional looking for an opportunity to lead a busy operational treasury function within a large and complex organisation?

We’re looking for a Treasury Operations Manager to take responsibility for the smooth and effective running of our operational treasury function and play a key role in protecting the financial strength and resilience of Notting Hill Genesis.

As a senior member of the Finance team, you’ll oversee our day-to-day treasury activity across cash and liquidity, borrowings, banking, reporting, accounting and treasury systems. You’ll also lead and develop two Treasury Accountants, creating a high-performing and customer-focused team that provides an excellent service to colleagues and external stakeholders.

Working closely with the Head of Treasury, senior Finance colleagues, banks, lenders and other partners, this is an opportunity to combine technical treasury expertise with people leadership, strategic thinking and continuous improvement in an organisation where effective financial management directly supports our ability to deliver for residents.

How You’ll Do It

Leadership & people management

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Treasury function, ensuring a high-quality and responsive service is provided to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage, develop, appraise and performance manage two Treasury Accountants, creating an environment where people are supported and motivated to perform at their best.
  • Work closely with the Head of Treasury to implement the annual treasury plan.
  • Ensure treasury activity operates in accordance with NHG’s Treasury Management Policies and established financial controls.
  • Champion a culture of customer focus, accountability and continuous improvement across the Treasury team and wider Finance function.

Borrowings

  • Ensure all contractual requirements within the Group’s loan agreements are met.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely payment of capital and interest.
  • Monitor compliance with loan covenants and ensure potential issues are identified and escalated appropriately.
  • Support the effective management of borrowing arrangements and wider treasury risks.

Banking

  • Act as the lead contact for day-to-day banking requirements.
  • Ensure banking platforms, bank mandates and access arrangements are appropriately maintained and controlled.
  • Coordinate KYC requirements and maintain effective relationships with banking partners.
  • Ensure banking arrangements continue to meet the operational needs of the organisation.

Cash & liquidity

  • Lead the preparation and management of cash-flow forecasts across the Group.
  • Prudently manage cash to ensure sufficient liquidity is available to meet daily operational requirements.
  • Oversee the investment of surplus cash with approved counterparties in accordance with Treasury Management Policy.
  • Provide clear insight into current and future liquidity requirements to support effective financial decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
