Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Treasury & Payroll Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team. As the Treasury & Payroll Reporting Accountant, you would be responsible for Treasury and Payments, ensuring management of working capital, accurate forecasting, and compliance with Group policy. The role requires building key relationships with Shared Service Centre colleagues as the UK P2P lead and HR/Payroll as the primary Finance contact. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday and is based in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash reconciliation, forecasting, and monthly cash flow reporting.
  • Oversee banking operations across GBP, EUR, and USD accounts, including mandates and payment setup.
  • Liaise with Group Treasury on FX hedging and complete monthly FX journals.
  • Administer access controls for TIP, Barclays.net, and TIS systems.
  • Review and approve BACS, non-SEPA, affiliate, and the manual payment run.
  • Complete intercompany netting activities and sign off bank and IHC reconciliations.
  • Ensure payment terms compliance, manage vendor escalations, and provide trade/banking references.
  • Act as the primary Finance contact for HR and Payroll, including payroll journals and employment recharges.
  • Support month and quarter-end activities, including accruals, legal pack preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Qualifications/experience

  • Experienced finance professional with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse and present data effectively with attention to detail.
  • Familiar working in a multi-currency group environment.
  • Previous exposure to International Treasury function.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead the P2P process for the UK.
