Elevate your career, perform when it counts: become part of our global financial consulting evolution!

Your role: Zanders is an independent global consultancy in treasury, risk and finance. Corporates, financial institutions and public sector organisations come to us when they are selecting, implementing or replacing a Treasury Management System (TMS) — programmes that touch cash, payments, funding, hedging and reporting, and that have to land without disrupting the treasury that depends on them. As Project Manager you lead those implementations end to end: you own the plan, the budget, the governance and the client relationship, and you are accountable for delivering the agreed scope on time and to the agreed quality.

You join our Treasury Technology team, working alongside functional and technical treasury consultants, client project teams and TMS vendor teams. Day to day you set direction for a project team, keep decisions moving with senior client stakeholders, and are the person people turn to when something needs resolving. You will typically run more than one implementation at a time, across different systems and different clients. We work in a hybrid model from our Utrecht or London office, with travel to client sites as the project requires.

Beyond your own projects, you help sharpen how Zanders implements treasury technology — improving our methodology, templates and lessons learned, and keeping the team current on how the TMS vendor landscape is moving.

Your background will be in treasury technology implementation — in a consulting firm, at a TMS vendor, or in a corporate treasury department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead TMS implementation projects from initiation to go-live, delivering on time, within scope and budget, and meeting the agreed functional and quality requirements.
  • Build and maintain project plans, and track project financials — actuals against forecast.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and issues early, and put mitigation in place before delivery is affected.
  • Establish project governance that allows key stakeholders to take decisions on time.
  • Manage scope changes through a structured change control process.
  • Assess the change impact of a new TMS on client processes, roles and ways of working, and drive user adoption through structured training, communication and go-live support.
  • Anticipate and manage resistance to change among client and internal stakeholders, addressing concerns proactively to keep adoption and morale on track through demanding project phases.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client and the escalation point for project issues, keeping the working relationship collaborative throughout the engagement.
  • Coordinate Zanders, client and vendor resources so the project stays within scope, schedule and budget.
  • Give clients and stakeholders regular status updates, managing expectations and addressing issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain thorough project documentation and secure the approvals each phase requires.
  • Direct and develop the project team — set clear expectations, delegate deliberately, give feedback, and keep workload and wellbeing in view through demanding project phases.
  • Strengthen Zanders' TMS implementation approach — methodology, templates and lessons learned — and share it across the Treasury Technology team.
  • Keep pace with developments across the TMS vendor landscape and feed them back into client advice and internal knowledge.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
