Job Title
I'm working with a Tier 1 global multi-strategy hedge fund looking to hire a Treasury Software Engineer into its London technology team.
Sitting at the intersection of Engineering, Portfolio Finance and Trading, you'll work directly with Repo traders, quantitative researchers and engineers to build the technology used to manage margin, financing, funding and capital across the firm's global portfolios.
This is a high-impact engineering role with direct exposure to the firm's investment platform, covering everything from near real-time trade processing and portfolio optimisation through to financing calculations and Treasury infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build systems for margin, financing interest and funding costs across asset classes.
- Develop scalable near real-time trade processing and portfolio optimisation technology.
- Build and enhance systems supporting Treasury, Portfolio Finance and Repo workflows.
- Work directly with Repo traders, quants and engineers on complex financing problems.
- Improve the performance, resilience and scalability of business-critical services.
- Take ownership of systems from design through to production.

Requirements
- 5+ years' professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Python, Java or another object-oriented language.
- Strong SQL, computer science fundamentals and systems design skills.
- Experience building robust, production-grade financial systems.
- Exposure to Treasury, portfolio financing, funding, margin, collateral, repo, prime brokerage or post-trade technology is highly advantageous.
- AWS/cloud experience is beneficial.
