Treasury Solutions Engineer

Referment is working with a regulated payments business providing business accounts and international payment services across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. It is looking for a Treasury Solutions Engineer to connect the operational work of moving money with the systems and data needed to keep it accurately reconciled and reportable.

You'll sit between Finance and Technology, owning day-to-day treasury integrity and ledgers across group entities. The balance is genuinely hands-on: you might investigate a failed payment, manage liquidity between banking partners or write the reconciliation logic that prevents the same issue recurring.

This role needs more than treasury knowledge or technical skills in isolation. You'll work directly with banking partner and internal APIs, understand how payment flows affect the ledger, and turn that information into reliable reconciliations and reporting. Finance will be a close partner on month-end and audit work, while Technology will support platform improvements and issues beyond your own integrations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
