About Xace

Xace is a global, multi-licensed finance infrastructure group, providing business accounts, international payments, cards, treasury, FX, safeguarding and financial technology to companies operating worldwide. Originally built for the iGaming sector, the Xace Group works with more than 1,000 brands, including the industry's leading names.

Xace's technology arm delivers market-leading, module-based technology with hundreds of features, designed for multiple industries and used by other regulated fintechs.

The role

We are looking for a Treasury Solutions Engineer to sit at the intersection of our Finance and Technology teams. The role suits someone who understands both the operational reality of moving money at scale across multiple banking partners, currencies and jurisdictions, and the technical grounding required to keep those flows accurate, reconciled and reportable in real time.

You will own the day-to-day integrity of Xace's treasury operations across a large, multi-jurisdiction book of business accounts, with ownership of ledgers across the Xace Group. You will operate across finance and technology in equal measure, from resolving a failed payment through to writing the reconciliation logic behind it.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile ledgers across a large book of live business accounts, spanning multiple currencies and banking rails, with ownership of ledgers across the Xace Group
  • Manage cash flow between Xace's banking partners, optimising liquidity and settlement timing
  • Ensure safeguarded accounts reconcile daily to the penny, in line with FCA safeguarding rules under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 and equivalent requirements under other Xace Group licences
  • Own SEPA and ECB settlement rails, including reconciliation, cash management and issue resolution across EUR flows
  • Reconcile customer contracts to fee schedules daily, identifying and correcting billing discrepancies before they hit the customer
  • Build, run and improve daily treasury reports (cash position, safeguarding, banking partner performance, fee reconciliation)
  • Work with banking partner APIs and Xace's own system APIs to pull data for reconciliation and reporting, escalating connectivity or data issues to internal engineering
  • Support the assessment and resolution of failed payments across the payment rails
  • Act as part of the team integrating new banking partners, from initial testing through to go-live
  • Work closely with Finance on month-end and audit workflows, and with Technology on platform improvements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years in a treasury, banking operations or fintech reconciliation role at scale
  • Prior work in a regulated payments or e-money environment
  • Deep understanding of multi-currency ledger maintenance and daily reconciliation
  • FX operations and treasury liquidity management experience
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding rules (PSR 2017 or EMR 2011 equivalent)

What we're looking for in you

  • Improvement mindset: you don't just run reconciliations, you spot where the process, tooling or reporting can be improved, and propose it
  • Comfortable across finance and tech: you speak both languages and can translate between them
  • High ownership: the role carries real financial and regulatory weight, and you hold yourself to the standard it demands
  • Detail-oriented at scale: you can hold a complex, multi-entity book in your head and still spot the one line that's off
  • Pragmatic problem-solver: you'd rather ship a working reconciliation today than design the perfect one for next quarter

A significant advantage

SEPA operations or ECB settlement experience. As Xace expands its EUR flows, this experience will be highly valued and could accelerate progression within the role

What we offer

  • Real ownership of treasury infrastructure at a group processing significant annual volume across multiple jurisdictions
  • Direct exposure to Finance and Tech leadership
  • Career path across group entities
