Role Description
The Treatment Coordinator at Tooth Club in Maidstone plays a central role in guiding patients through their dental journey and ensuring a smooth, informed experience. This on-site position involves meeting with patients to discuss treatment options, explaining procedures, and helping them understand recommended care plans. The Treatment Coordinator manages appointment scheduling, coordinates with clinical staff, and supports patients with insurance queries and payment arrangements. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate treatment records, following up with patients to support case acceptance, and delivering a welcoming, professional presence in the clinic. The role requires close collaboration with dentists and the wider dental team to ensure each patient receives clear communication and a high standard of service.

Qualifications

  • Ability to oversee Treatment Planning and coordinate dental care pathways with clinical teams.
  • Experience working with Insurance processes, including verifying coverage and discussing financial arrangements with patients.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, handling enquiries, and supporting patients throughout their visits.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.
  • Basic knowledge of Dental Care concepts and common treatments, or willingness to learn in a clinical environment.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing schedules, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, patient-facing setting and collaborating with multidisciplinary dental teams.
  • Previous experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer-facing role is beneficial; relevant certifications or training in dental administration or coordination are an advantage.
