Job Title: Tree Surgeon
Job Type: Full Time
Qualifications:
- You will hold NPTC qualifications for ground-based and aerial chainsaw activities including, as a minimum: CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39.
- You will be trained in operating and maintaining a chipper and hold an in-date emergency first aid certificate (preferably arboriculture/forestry specific).
- A level 2 qualification in Arboriculture would be an advantage, as would certificates in rigging operations and MEWP competency.
- New Roads and Street Works act certification.
What you will bring to the role:
- As well as being a competent climber with a minimum of 2 years climbing experience, you will have a keen focus on safe working practices, care, and maintenance of arboriculture plant, vehicles, and equipment.
- You must be focused, committed, hardworking, resourceful, able to work well with others, a motivator, and an independent self-starter.
- A full driving licence is required as a minimum (ideally B+E), and 2 references will be required.
- Training is available for the right candidate – attitude and commitment to high standards of quality, health, and safety are foremost.
