Job Description

Customer to Customer Officer

Full Time

Derby

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer to Customer (C2C) Officer to join the Trent XWB Fleet Management team. The Trent XWB Value stream is responsible for a fleet of >1500 engines across over 35 airlines globally and this is expected to increase further over the next 5 years. As the only engine provider for the A350 airframe continuing to drive sustained positive fleet health and customer satisfaction is essential to delivering the full potential of the XWB business plans and Civil’s profit over the 5YP.

In this role, you will manage programmes of work designed to deliver a reduced customer to customer lead team across our global MRO network. You will be ensuring timely delivery of a broad suite of activities, working cross functionally to ensure that deliverables are met to drive TRT down to best in class for each designated event.

What you will be doing:

One of the biggest levers to driving sustainable fleet health for our customers and the product is to ensure that when engines are removed for a planned maintenance or overhaul activity this is completed as quickly as possible and in line with our planning assumptions. As the XWB products have several upcoming first of type SVs and new overhaul facility inductions it is critical that the C2C officer works in conjunction with Aftermarket Operations and other functions to ensure we meet or improve on the assumed turn around time reductions in the operational plan.

Responsibilities

In this role you will play a critical part of driving optimisation across the Trent XWB MRO network, and the successful candidate will:

  • Integrate with overhaul bases through established governance to maintain oversight & progress of C2C reduction work
  • Drive the standard and quality of each TRT workbook within the MRO network
  • Serve as an escalation POC for internal Rolls-Royce actions across the MRO network
  • Alignment with Aftermarket Operations OBM’s and P&C on C2C reduction strategy and progress
  • Programme manage and deliver C2C improvements and NPI SV types via individual projects
  • Provide insights to the business on C2C performance, existing constraints and help identify fixes
  • Manage MRO performance related external comms for specific product types e.g. CFG, customer BRMs and Airbus governance
  • Provide TRT assumptions with rationale where appropriate to support each SIOP cycle

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
