We are on an exciting journey, we have recently joined Lift Schools, one of the largest Multi Academy Trusts in the country. This allows Marling School to stay true to our local roots, while also drawing on the phenomenal wealth of expertise and resources that comes with being part of a national network of schools. We are also delighted to welcome our new Principal, Peter Knight. He brings extensive experience and a proven track record of impact in education, having worked for over 15 years with Oasis Community Learning, one of England's largest academy trusts. Recently serving as a Regional Director overseeing secondary schools in the Bristol area, he has previously led high-performing schools in Bristol, London, and New Zealand.
About The Role
We are looking for someone who will oversee our dynamic programme of trips, activities and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions. The role focuses on safeguarding, efficient administration and strong stakeholder relationships.

The successful candidate will coordinate overseas visits, lead year-group enrichment events and manage multiple deadlines across both Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks campuses, contributing to a high-quality student experience
Key Responsibilities
- Trip Administration: Book venues, transport, and accommodation for day, residential, and overseas visits while tracking parental consent and payments.
- Health and Safety: Review and complete risk assessments, ensuring trips align with school policies and safeguarding guidelines.
- Enrichment Scheduling: Coordinate whole-school clubs, after-school activities, special events, and end-of-year enrichment days.
- Program Support: Oversee initiatives like the Duke of Edinburgh Award, managing student registration, logistics, and staff training.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main contact for parents, staff trip leaders, and external activity providers.
