Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Halesworth. The Truck Driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations, following planned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include:

- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Securing loads
- Assisting with unloading as required
The role involves adhering to all applicable transport regulations, maintaining accurate delivery and log records, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers. The Truck Driver is also expected to:
- Keep the vehicle clean
- Report maintenance needs promptly
- Represent the company in a professional manner on the road and at customer sites
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong truck driving skills, including experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently
- A valid CDL Class A (or equivalent appropriate license) and a clean driving record
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and other relevant road safety and compliance standards
- Skills in basic loading and unloading procedures, including safe handling of cargo

Additional beneficial qualifications include:
- Familiarity with route planning, time management, and basic vehicle maintenance
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience in regional or long-distance haulage and previous work in a professional transport or logistics environment is an advantage.
