HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver
Location: Haydock, Merseyside
Working Hours:
- Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Between 5:00am and 7:00am start times
Rates:
- £17.37 per hour (Monday–Friday)
- £19.05 per hour (Saturday)
- £25.00 Night Out
The Job
Aspion are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for ongoing work based in Haydock with immediate starts available.
You'll be completing general haulage and RDC deliveries across the UK, using box trailers and curtain-sided trailers (Tautliners).
This is a no-handball role, with customers responsible for loading and unloading. The position involves regular nights out a snap account to be provided.

What We Need
- Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience.
- Previous tramping experience.
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum 6 endorsement points.
- No previous driving bans, DR or IN endorsements.
- Reliable and professional approach to work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally.
- Completing deliveries and collections across the UK.
- Operating box trailers and curtain-sided trailers.
- Completing vehicle and safety checks.
- Ensuring loads are secure and transported safely.
- Completing delivery paperwork and documentation.
- Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph regulations.
- Maintaining a professional approach with customers and the transport team.
