Park & Sons can pack potatoes in a variety of formats, including returnable trays, paper sacks, and cardboard boxes, to meet specific client requirements. The business packs to order 7 days a week, 364 days a year to ensure deliveries are made at optimum quality and freshness, providing a reliable and consistent service. Role Description
The Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Epworth, responsible for safely transporting fresh potato products to retail, food processing, and wholesale customers. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Operating company trucks
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ensuring loads are properly secured
- Managing delivery routes
- Following assigned schedules
- Handling unloading activities as required at customer locations

The role also involves:
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Complying with DOT and company safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with the logistics team and customers
The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining product quality during transport.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong truck driving capabilities, including experience with Truck Driving and operating commercial Truck vehicles.
- Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record suitable for commercial transport.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and adherence to all applicable safety and compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in loading and unloading goods, with the ability to handle manual handling tasks safely.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include:
- Experience in food or agricultural transport
- Familiarity with route planning
- Basic vehicle maintenance awareness
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Thorne, communicate clearly with dispatch and customers, and follow company procedures and quality standards.
