Greenline Environmental Ltd is a commercial waste management company specializing in waste collection and disposal across London and the surrounding areas. The company delivers bespoke solutions to many of London’s most prestigious venues and events, operating 24/7, 365 days a year. Services include wait-and-load collections, office clearances, junk and WEEE waste removal, fly-tipping clearances, and regular trade waste bin collections for general waste and mixed recycling. Greenline Environmental is a preferred supplier to leading waste management companies and is recognized for prompt, professional, and competitively priced services. All waste is diverted from landfill, transported to licensed waste transfer stations, and handled in compliance with EU guidelines.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to complete scheduled waste collections and deliveries across London and nearby regions. Daily tasks include loading and unloading waste containers, following assigned routes, ensuring accurate documentation of collections, and maintaining communication with the dispatch and operations teams. The role involves adhering to all relevant transport safety regulations, completing vehicle inspections, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly. Drivers will be expected to provide professional, courteous service to clients while supporting Greenline Environmental’s commitment to safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible waste management.

Qualifications

- Possession of relevant professional driving credentials such as CDL Class A (or equivalent UK heavy goods vehicle license) and strong Truck Driving experience.
- Proficiency in safely operating a Truck, including performing routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance where required.
- Ability to handle loading and unloading of waste containers and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations or equivalent UK and EU transport, safety, and waste management regulations, with a commitment to compliance.
- Good navigation and route-planning skills, including experience driving in busy urban environments.
- Strong attention to safety, reliability, and time management, with the ability to follow schedules and work 24/7 shift patterns when needed.
- Effective communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach when interacting with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in waste management, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
