As a Truck Sales Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping businesses find the right commercial vehicle solutions while driving your own success through an uncapped commission structure.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team during a period of significant growth, with excellent earning potential, ongoing training and development opportunities, and the chance to work with one of the most prestigious names in the automotive industry.

  • Field-based role with an office base in Knowsley, Trafford Park, or Deeside
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30 - 17:00)

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Managing and updating customer interactions through CRM
  • Preparing professional quotations and tailored vehicle proposals
  • Monitoring sold orders to ensure smooth delivery and excellent customer satisfaction
  • Maximising demonstrator fleet usage to drive sales opportunities
  • Presenting the benefits, performance, and total cost of ownership advantages of Mercedes-Benz Trucks
  • Attending exhibitions, ride-and-drive events, trade shows, and customer demonstrations
  • Promoting repair and maintenance contracts and finance solutions
  • Delivering exceptional vehicle handovers and customer experiences
  • Maintaining regular customer contact to develop loyalty and repeat business
  • Supporting the transition towards alternative fuel vehicles and sustainable transport solutions, with full training provided

The Ideal Candidate

  • Commercial vehicle sales experience, preferably trucks, although van sales experience will also be considered
  • Experience within the truck industry, such as aftersales, body building, transport, or haulage
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
  • A flexible, adaptable mindset and a desire to succeed
  • A passion for delivering an exceptional Mercedes-Benz customer experience
