Role Description The Truck Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Liverpool, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for generating new truck sales and managing existing customer accounts, including identifying prospects, conducting sales visits, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. The Truck Sales Manager will manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure vehicle availability, pricing accuracy, and timely delivery. Day-to-day tasks include building strong relationships with fleet operators, understanding customer requirements, providing product demonstrations, and advising on suitable truck solutions. The role also involves monitoring market trends, participating in trade events, maintaining accurate CRM records, and ensuring high standards of customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong truck or commercial vehicle sales experience, including prospecting, account management, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of the commercial vehicle, transport, or automotive sector, with the ability to understand technical specifications and fleet requirements.
  • Customer relationship management skills, including stakeholder engagement, consultative selling, and long-term account development.
  • Business and analytical skills, such as sales forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM or sales reporting tools.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey product benefits clearly to diverse customer audiences.
  • Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently in a hybrid environment and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region to meet clients and attend industry events.
