Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting education? The Southfield Trust is seeking a Central Operations Administrator to provide essential administrative support across our Trust, helping our schools deliver the very best outcomes for pupils.

  • An actual salary of £20,803, based on Single Status Grade 5.12 / £26,847 (fte)
  • Term time only paid for 46 weeks (one week to be worked in a holiday), fixed term for one year subject to a successful 6 month probationary period. Hours are 08:30 - 15:30, five days (32.5hrs) a week.

The Role (please see the full Job Description & Personal Specification)

To provide high-level administrative support across the Trust’s central operations, with particular focus on HR operations, Estates operations and organisational projects. The postholder will help ensure that statutory operational and compliance processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and to agreed timescales.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • RQF level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics and evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Ability to use technology as part of the role.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.
  • Awareness of the Data Protection regulations and a commitment to maintain confidentiality.
  • Previous experience of working in an operational capacity within a public sector organisation.
  • Ability to plan and organise a varied workload, on occasion working to short deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner, changing messages to suit different audiences.
  • Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development.
  • Positive and proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team whilst also working independently.
