Role Description
We are recruiting (1) Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Neurosurgery for 12-month fixed term post.
A dedicated Consultant led neurosurgical teaching programme supports ongoing professional development, alongside opportunities for audit, research, and portfolio enhancement.

Duties:
- 1:9 Resident Full-Shift On-Call (12 hours)
- 1-2 General Neurosurgical Clinics per week
- 3 sessions of Elective Neurosurgical operating per week
- Inpatient Ward-Rounds
- Clinical Governance
Requirements:
- It will be expected that the candidate has prior experience of completing an Audit cycle and will have been involved in one or more quality improvement projects previously.
- As part of the yearly Appraisal process, they would be strongly encouraged to be actively involved in Clinical Governance within the department during their employment.

Research:
There are extensive opportunities to be involved in research whilst in post. The department has a very strong academic record, having been (and is currently) involved in several landmark Neurosurgical studies.
