Job Title: Trust Finance Manager

Job Location: King Charles 1 School, Kidderminster (however any Trust school considered). There will be some additional travel to agreed schools. (Worcestershire/Shropshire)

Salary: £54,953 - £58,832

Closing Date: Monday 19 October @ 10.00am

Interview Date: Friday 23rd October

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint a permanent Trust Finance Manager as part of our growing central finance team.

The successful candidate will be a highly ambitious, inspired, and enthusiastic professional who will provide professional management and leadership of financial services to the Multi Academy Trust.

The post-holder will support the Head of Finance in the delivery of the Trust’s management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting functions. They will contribute to the achievement of the Trust’s strategic objectives through the effective stewardship of financial resources, ensuring the provision of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.

You will be/have:

  • CCAB (ICAEW, CIPFA, or ACCA) or CIMA or equivalent or qualified by experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in management accounting, financial planning, and analysis in the education sector or similar organisations
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • The ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels within an organisation and external to an organisation with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Resilience, the ability to handle high levels of pressure and be able to meet deadlines
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Due to the nature of the role and the requirement to attend multiple sites, the post-holder must have access to a vehicle and hold a full, valid driving licence.
