At the heart of the Trust is a commitment to ensuring that every child and young person achieves their potential, develops independence, and experiences success in education and life. Collaboration, inclusion, innovation and continuous improvement underpin all aspects of our work.

We believe that strong financial stewardship is essential to delivering high-quality educational outcomes. The Management Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the Trust's resources are managed effectively, providing robust financial information that supports strategic decision-making and enables the Trust to achieve its vision and ambitions.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives on responsibility, values accuracy, and enjoys working collaboratively across multiple schools and services.

We are looking for someone who can lead on management accounting, budget monitoring, forecasting, financial analysis and balance sheet control, ensuring our financial information is reliable, timely and supports confident decision-making. You’ll work closely with school leaders, budget holders and shared services teams, helping us maintain strong financial governance and deliver best value for our young people.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
