Exciting Post Available for a Trust Grade Registrar

An exciting post is available for a Trust Grade Registrar to join our Ambulatory Care Team at Ealing Hospital.

This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest and most successful integrated care NHS Trust’s in the UK, with a team of 9,000 dedicated staff.

About the Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)

The Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) at Ealing Hospital began its operation in 2014. It has now moved to a dedicated area on Level 1 Ealing Hospital with 18 chairs/Trolleys as well as 2 Side Rooms for Assessment.

  • ACU is open 9-8pm 7 days a week and your Rota will encompass On Call Days where you cover 9-8pm.
  • At ACU we aim to assess patients requiring emergency care who can be managed safely and appropriately on the same day either without admission or admission for only a number of hours.
  • We have developed medical, ED and surgical pathways which are implemented in our ACU.
  • ACU takes referrals from GPs, ED to avoid admission and wards to facilitate discharge. Successful candidates will contribute in developing and expanding this service further.

Responsibilities

The successful candidates will work under the supervision of the Acute Consultants in the day to day work associated with the care of Acute general medical inpatients in Ambulatory Care Unit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
