Newly Created Role in JD Europe's International Compliance Department

This is a newly created role within JD Europe's International Compliance Department and Trust & Safety Operations function. You will investigate marketplace issues and support enforcement across sellers, products, listings and content in our UK and EU marketplaces.

The role spans marketplace investigations, notice-and-action, prohibited and restricted products, product safety and IP. You will also contribute operational insight to the continued development of enforcement policies and decision guidance.

What You'll Do

  • Investigate seller, product, listing, and content cases
  • Review reports, account information, and evidence and apply JD's enforcement policies
  • Handle notice-and-action and prohibited or restricted product cases
  • Make or implement listing and seller enforcement decisions within defined authority levels
  • Review seller evidence, responses, and corrective actions
  • Support product safety and IP/infringement investigations
  • Identify repeat violations, linked cases, and patterns of marketplace abuse
  • Maintain clear case records and evidence to support independent review where decisions are challenged
  • Contribute case insights to the development of enforcement policies, SOPs, and decision guidance
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately
  • Work with Compliance, Seller Support, Customer Service, and Marketplace teams to resolve cases effectively

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Trust & Safety, marketplace operations, investigations, seller risk, fraud, compliance operations, or a related field
  • Marketplace or e-commerce experience preferred
  • Experience reviewing evidence and applying policies, rules, or SOPs
  • Strong judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing cases at volume and escalating exceptions appropriately
  • Experience with marketplace enforcement, product safety, or IP is an advantage
  • Practical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving international environment
  • Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin or another European language would be an advantage
