Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Trust Specialist

We are looking for an excellent Governance Professional to be our next Trust Specialist for Governance and Stakeholder Engagement and help us achieve our mission of Building Excellent Schools Together.

About our trust

Kernow Learning is a primary specialist multi academy trust of 21 schools in Cornwall. All our schools celebrate their individuality whilst holding our trust’s shared values, mission, and philosophy close to their heart.

We believe that our trust has already achieved much; through a mix of collective synchronicity and autonomy, our schools are working together to provide collective strength so that they can stretch their offer beyond expectations in their drive for excellence.

In addition to our schools, we are proud to host a DfE English Hub, Teaching School Hub, Voice21 Centre of Excellence, and an Associate College of National Institute of Teaching; the only one in Cornwall.

About you

You will be an outstanding governance professional. A colleague that is able to quickly establish themselves as a team player; a colleague who is a motivator with the ability to forge strong relationships and provide clear direction in order to secure success for everyone. You will dream big and achieve big; by ensuring that we have strong governance to drive forward our ambitions, and an ability to engage all stakeholders to create and foster positive relationships for all.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
