About the Role
The post is also ideal for an experienced paediatric doctor who can demonstrate that they have achieved the competences expected of a new ST4+ level paediatric trainee. The post is suitable for those interested in advancing their general paediatrics knowledge and developing their administrative skills in a teaching hospital environment.
This post is suitable for doctors interested in a career in Paediatrics. The successful applicant will be part of a large general paediatric team providing and coordinating care for:
- Children attended to paediatrics ED department including resuscitation room.
- Children admitted to the inpatient ward (Jacks Place- 28 beds).
- Children admitted to the short stay paediatric ward (Rainbow unit- 8 beds).
The duty will include providing outpatients clinics assessments (general and various subspecialty clinics, including, allergy, epilepsy, gastro, sickle cell disease, endocrine, asthma, TB and infectious diseases, cardiology) with clinical supervision.
