Who we are
Consent For All is a non-profit organisation dedicated to increasing awareness of sexual consent and empowering individuals with the knowledge of their rights. Our approach is holistic, working with members of the public, training professionals, and working with organisations to prevent sexual violence. Our foundational principles are rooted in inclusivity, evidence-based practice, and providing a judgment-free space where everyone—regardless of background or circumstance—is welcome. The next part of our journey is applying for full charity status with a diverse Board of Trustees to bring an array of skills and experiences to the table.
Role Description
The Trustee role is a remote, volunteer position responsible for contributing to the governance and operation of Consent For All CIC. Our trustees will play a vital role in planning the strategic objectives of the charity through board meetings, developing our educational provisions and working to develop partnerships with external organisations. We are looking for people with unique skills and experience to bring to our new Board of Trustees. Our team includes legal professionals and academics, but we are looking to expand the array of skills that we already have.

What we are looking for
- Up to 5 hours per month to dedicate to discussions, board meetings and operations.
- Someone who will bring a unique skill or experience to the board which will help us diversify and improve as an organisation.
- Someone who is proactive, consistent and communicates effectively with the team.
- Someone based primarily in the UK for registration purposes and in-person business.
- An awareness of charity or company governance, or the willingness to learn from the legal professionals on our team.
- An applicant who is happy to be publicly registered as a trustee and director of the organisation in accordance with UK regulations.

What we offer

- Reasonable expenses to be paid for conducting charity business. This includes travel costs, subsistence and accommodation if they are absolutely necessary.
