Trustee with Finance Responsibility
Ideal Experience:
Professional Qualifications: CCAB background (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent financial experience.
Accounting Skills: Experience building, auditing, or managing non-profit/SME operational budgets.
Strategic Planning: Ability to present clear financial information to non-financial Board colleagues.
Fundraising & Income Development Trustee
This role guides the charity's long-term sustainability by building and enhancing alternative revenue streams.
Core Responsibilities
- Advise the Board on commercial opportunities, local donor campaigns, and high-value grant pipelines.
- Support the development of diversified, innovative income streams (corporate partnerships, trusts, legacy gifts).
- Shape strategies for community public fundraising events and online digital donation tracking.

- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with inspection frameworks and compliance standards (such as the Care Quality Commission in England).
- Funding Landscapes: Understanding how social care is financed, including local authority commissioning, personal budgets, and statutory contracts.
