As we continue to deliver our ambitious Help and Hope Strategy, we are seeking a new Trustee with significant experience in adult social care.
This is an opportunity to contribute to one of the most important conversations in health and care. As a Trustee, you will help shape the strategic direction of a nationally recognised charity with a strong reputation, growing influence and an unwavering commitment to people affected by dementia.

We're looking for a senior leader who understands the realities of adult social care and the opportunities ahead. You may have developed your expertise through social care provision, commissioning, regulation, policy, local government, integrated care systems or a related field. Whatever your background, you'll bring insight into the challenges facing the sector and a passion for improving outcomes for people living with dementia.
Working alongside an experienced Board and Executive Team, you will provide support, challenge and strategic guidance to help ensure Alzheimer's Society continues to make the greatest possible impact. You will also help strengthen our understanding of the changing health and social care landscape at a time of significant reform and opportunity.
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who can bring:
- Significant leadership experience within adult social care
- Strategic insight and sound judgement
- An understanding of governance and organisational leadership
- The ability to influence, challenge constructively and work collaboratively
- A commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of people affected by dementia

Previous Trustee or Non-Executive Director experience is welcome but not essential.
This is a voluntary position requiring approximately one to two days per month, including Board and Committee meetings throughout the country, predominantly in London.
