What difference will you make?
A well-connected trustee driving corporate partnerships can move us from ad hoc introductions to a proper pipeline of committed funders. As a small, on-the-ground, impact-driven, and results-based charity, we need the kind of reliable, longer-term backing that lets us plan our next projects with confidence, across all 20 countries we work in, not just chase the next grant. We need people based in the UK with the experience and connections that will make Action Change STRONG!

We need someone highly influential and well-connected, passionate about tackling global development challenges at a local scale. Real experience or network in corporate sponsorship, partnerships, or business development. A confident, natural ambassador comfortable representing us at senior level. Someone already a trustee or new to the world of trusteeship are welcome to join our board.

What will you be doing?
Action Change runs 97 projects across 20 countries from marine and wildlife conservation to education, healthcare, women's empowerment, and leadership scholarships that are all aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and built to become locally funded and locally led over time. We're a small UK charity punching well above our weight, and the next stage of our growth depends on funding and corporate partnerships that match the scale of what we're already doing on the ground.

We need a trustee with real influence, someone whose network and reputation can open doors to corporate donors, funders, and strategic partners we simply can't reach on our own. You'll work closely with our Founding CEO, bringing board-level judgement to how we approach and close bigger, longer-term partnerships rather than chasing one-off donations.
