Cloverleaf Advocacy Trustee Opportunity
Are you passionate about advocacy and/or supporting unpaid carers? Cloverleaf Advocacy, a leading charity dedicated to supporting people to uphold their rights and to have their voices heard, is looking for dedicated trustees to join our board.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organisation. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to support our progression and ensure that people who need our support can draw on it when they need to.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for trustees who have;
- integrity
- a commitment to the organisation and its objectives
- an understanding (or willingness to learn) and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship
- a willingness to devote the necessary time and effort to their duties as a trustee
- strategic vision
- good, independent judgment
- an ability to think creatively
- willingness to speak their mind
- an ability to work effectively as a member of a team

What will you be doing?
Our organisation has grown significantly over the last 3 years, and we are looking for new trustees who have a passion for our work to support with our next stage of growth and development.
We're looking for someone who shares our values, and can bring lived experience, and/or skills in finance, HR, lobbying/campaigning, or business development.
Our board meets 4 times a year (at least once in person at our Head Office in Dewsbury). We also have sub-groups for the board which focus on particular aspects of the organisation -these also meet 4 times a year (more often if needed)
