Company Description

The Impact Network is a UK charity built to give small, locally-led conservation and community development organisations the visibility, funding access, and long-term support they need to thrive. We connect these organisations through one shared platform, and support them with toolkits so that their work can be more easily discovered, funded, and joined by supporters and partners worldwide.

If you care about grassroots impact reaching the people actually doing the work, this is where that happens.

Role Description

We're recruiting founding trustees to help shape The Impact Network from the ground up: a genuine opportunity to influence the direction, culture, and governance of a new charity. This is a voluntary, unpaid position, fully remote, with a realistic time commitment of a few hours a month plus quarterly board meetings. As a trustee, you'll provide strategic oversight, help ensure sound financial and legal governance, and support decision-making as we grow from the ground up. You'll also act as an ambassador for the foundation, and depending on your background, may contribute directly to fundraising, partnerships, or communications strategy. It's a chance to make a tangible difference to grassroots conservation and development work worldwide, using skills and experience you already have.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
