Are you passionate about making a tangible impact locally and changing the lives of vulnerable young people? Roundabout is looking for a Trustee to support homeless young people aged 16-25 in Sheffield.

About The Role

We are looking for new, enthusiastic people to join Roundabout’s Board of Trustees – could this be you?

We particularly welcome candidates with a fundraising and/or legal background.

A charity’s Trustees share responsibility for governing the charity, directing how it should be run and ensuring it carries out the purposes for which it is set up. Being a Trustee for Roundabout will mean making decisions that will positively impact on young people’s lives and futures.

Whatever your experience or background you will have something to offer to the Board of Trustees. You will be accepted and welcomed as yourself and supported in your role as Trustee. You may already be an experienced Trustee or Board member or completely new to the role, either way you will add to the collective skills and knowledge of the Board and, with a passion for Roundabout, its employees and the young people it serves, will bring a new and different perspective to the Board.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
