HR Trustee

We are seeking an HR Trustee to help us build a positive, inclusive, and effective organizational culture. You will provide strategic leadership on all people-related matters, ensuring our HR policies, workforce planning, and recruitment align with our values and legal obligations.

What Difference Will You Make?

  • Building a Sustainable, Inclusive Culture By embedding best-practice HR and EDI principles into our governance, you ensure our staff and associate trainers feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work.

  • Safeguarding & Trauma-Informed Support Working with lived-experience storytellers requires careful attention to psychological safety and staff well-being. Your expertise will help us maintain robust care practices for both staff and beneficiaries.

  • De-risking People Operations Your oversight will ensure Sounddelivery Media remains fully compliant with evolving employment legislation, managing workforce risks effectively and protecting our reputation as an employer of choice in the social sector.

What Are We Looking For?

Key Responsibilities

  • Board Governance Attend quarterly Board meetings, bringing an HR, culture, and workforce perspective to strategic discussions and decision-making.

  • Policy & Compliance Review Periodically review core HR policies (e.g., recruitment, grievance, disciplinary, and well-being) to ensure they are up to date, fair, and legally compliant.

  • Leadership Mentorship & Support Advise the Director on team structures, performance appraisal systems, professional development, and succession planning.

  • Subcommittee / Task Group Involvement Lead or contribute to board-level discussions on remuneration, EDI targets, or people-related risks (e.g., advising on the Audit, Risk & People considerations).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
