Trustee, Information Systems & Analytics

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, is seeking a Information Systems & Analytics Trustee to join our purpose-driven and passionate Council (Board of Trustees). Are you ready to play a leading role in shaping the strategic direction of the UK’s oldest national tri-service charity?

Founded in 1885, SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, provides practical, financial and emotional support to serving personnel, veterans and their families. Today, we remain a trusted source of help for those who serve or have served, and for the families who stand beside them.

Our work is underpinned by our values of understanding, commitment, integrity and compassion, and delivered by a diverse network of volunteers and employees across the UK and worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

As a Trustee, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership, aligning with the Charity Governance Code principles of organisational purpose, leadership and integrity
  • Ensure effective stewardship of the charity’s resources and long-term sustainability
  • Safeguard SSAFA’s reputation, values and charitable purpose
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and inclusive decision-making at Board level
  • Ensure compliance with charity law, regulatory requirements and governing documents

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
