Sea Cadets is the UK’s leading maritime charity, providing a head-start in life for young people through nautical adventure and fun. Our volunteers, including those behind the scenes, work to help make a positive difference to teenagers who are often struggling in today’s world.

Requirements
You have three years or more experience in positions such as administrator or secretary, with skills or knowledge such as:
- General administration
- Good literacy
- Verbal communication skills
- Reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness
- Effective teamwork
- Ability to motivate and encourage others

Working Arrangement
Hybrid
What will you be doing?
The tasks of a secretary include but are not restricted to the following:
- Emailing details and agendas for UMT meetings
- Taking minutes at UMT meetings, uploading them, and emailing to team members
- Acting as a charity trustee
- Attending a regular UMT meeting - usually 1 hour, monthly on a weekday evening
