We’re seeking new trustees and local governors to join our expanding Trust and to strengthen governance in our Trust/schools.
What difference will you make?
As a trustee you will help to support with compliance and oversight of finance, premises and staffing issues as we work towards the aims in our Strategic Plan. As a local governor you will help to provide appropriate support and challenge in holding Principals to account.

Previous experience of being a trustee/governor would also be preferable but not required.
What will you be doing?
As a trustee you’ll have an essential role in contributing towards the future direction of the Education Village Academy Trust. We are an inclusive mixed Multi Academy Trust (MAT) of 7 local schools, including 1 secondary, 4 mainstream primary and 1 special primary, and 1 special all through school. This year we’re expecting to expand our Trust and the board will be leading that change. Our board has a close relationship with our senior management team, and prides itself on being very friendly and relaxed. We also have sub-committees that provide accountability for finance, premises, staffing and education. As a local governor you will help to support our existing schools as we look to sustain or improve our existing Ofsted ratings.
