An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the North East London NHS Foundation Trust as a Trustwide ADHD Coach, based at the Jane Atkinson Centre.

The Role
As a Trustwide ADHD Coach, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals with ADHD by providing tailored coaching and support. You will work collaboratively with service users and colleagues to promote neurodiversity-affirming practices and contribute to the development of services that prioritise wellbeing and co-production. Your work will have a lasting impact on the lives of those you support, helping them to achieve their goals and navigate challenges.
- Provide one-to-one coaching to individuals with ADHD, focusing on empowerment and practical strategies for daily life.
- Deliver group sessions to promote peer support and shared learning among service users.
- Collaborate with colleagues and service users to co-design and develop innovative service improvements.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Proven ability to promote neurodiversity-affirming practices in professional settings.
- Experience acting as a positive role model, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and resilience.
- Strong skills in facilitating group work and fostering collaborative environments.

Starting with NELFT (delete for internal only)
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
High Cost Area Supplement Outer London (B&D, Redbridge, Havering and Waltham Forest, CEME)
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,870 to a maximum of £6,137 p.a. pro rata for part time).

When calculating the basic salary for sponsorship, HCAS (High-Cost Area Supplement) is not included to ensure fairness and consistency within our Trust.
