Truth Talent Residence - 6 months contract
Whether you're taking your first career step or making a bold career change, we'd love to hear from you.
Location: London (Hybrid)
Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days per week in our Shoreditch office
Duration: 6 months
Once a year, we welcome two people to join the Truth Talent Programme at our London office.
Our six-month paid programme is designed for people at the start of their careers, or those with experience from a different field looking to take their skills in a completely new direction. You'll spend six months immersed in insights consultancy work - learning about insights, strategy, and creativity by getting stuck into client work alongside our teams.
This year, we're placing an even greater focus on developing blended skills. You'll have the opportunity to work across two to three strategic insights specialisms during the programme, gaining exposure to different disciplines and building a broad consultancy skillset. The programme will start in our Quantitative Research team before expanding into other teams - Futures, Qualitative research, and our creative team Truth Studio.
Who It's For
Anyone, really.
Some people on the Truth Talent Programme join us straight from school, college, or university. Others come from careers they've decided to leave behind. Both routes require curiosity, courage, and a willingness to learn, which are exactly the qualities we're looking for.
You don't need a research background. You don't need to know what a discussion guide is. And you absolutely do not need a degree to apply.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What matters most is curiosity about people, enthusiasm for learning, and a genuine interest in understanding the world around you.
What You'll Do
You'll receive hands-on training in the principles and approaches that make Truth Consulting what it is today, while working on real client projects from day one.
During the programme, you'll:
- Work alongside experienced insights consultants on live client projects.
- Gain exposure to quantitative and qualitative research, strategy, futures, semiotics, and creativity.
- Rotate across two to three teams to develop a broad and blended skillset.
- Share your perspective on client challenges and internal projects.
- Learn directly from experienced practitioners across the business.
- Build the foundations for a career in consultancy, insights, and strategy.
We believe the best way to learn is by doing, so you'll be actively involved in the work rather than sitting on the sidelines.
Location and Working Pattern
The programme is based at our London office in Shoreditch.
Participants are expected to work from the office at least three days per week. A big part of the programme is learning from colleagues, collaborating across teams, and experiencing consultancy first-hand, so being together in person is an important part of the experience.
For this reason, we're looking for candidates who are at a commutable distance to our London office.
Why Truth?
We think Truth is one of the best places in the industry to start, or restart, your career.
You'll be close to the work, close to our clients, and close to the people doing it. We value fresh perspectives and believe everyone has something meaningful to contribute, regardless of their background or previous experience.
