Role
You will join a dynamic team teaching on a range of environmental management, environmental science and geography courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will help supervise students in undergraduate and postgraduate level research projects.
Essential
The successful applicant will have:
- A good first degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications
- Expertise in environmental disciplines such as environmental management and/or environmental science. This would include knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Experience in teaching and supporting students
Desirable
- Knowledge of web-based learning methods and relevant packages (e.g. Moodle).
You will have a strong commitment to supporting students and working in partnership with colleagues and external partners and have experience of a range of teaching methods.

About the School
The School of Engineering and Environment is a large and successful academic unit in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. It is committed to achieving high-quality teaching, research and enterprise. The School is innovative in its teaching and offers a successful suite of UG and PGT courses. These include MSc courses in Environmental Sustainability, and Environmental Management, BSc (Hons) courses in Environmental Science, Geography and Human Geography.
