Role Description
The Tutor role at Blue Apple Training is a full-time, on-site position based in West Yorkshire. The Tutor will deliver structured training sessions to groups and individual learners, using engaging and accessible teaching methods. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Tutor will maintain accurate learner records, align training with program and employer requirements, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues and partner organizations to ensure high-quality training outcomes and strong learner progression into employment or further study.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to create engaging, learner-centered sessions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities, with a focus on motivating and supporting diverse learners.
- Organizational and time-management skills to plan lessons, track learner progress, and meet program deadlines.
- Competence in basic digital tools (e.g., email, learning platforms, presentation software) for delivering and recording training.
- Experience in vocational training, adult education, or work-based learning is highly beneficial.
- Recognized teaching or training qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or equivalent) is desirable.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion principles within an educational environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support learner progression into employment.
