About the Role

We are expanding our tutor team and are looking for two experienced Residential Childcare professionals to join us as we grow.

This role focuses on delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships and diplomas (Levels 3–5) to adult learners who are employed within residential childcare settings - including registered managers and deputy managers - supporting them to develop the leadership and management skills needed to run safe, effective services.

The role is primarily remote, with workplace visits to your learners.

You will also attend quarterly team meetings in Pudsey, Leeds (four times per year).

You'll be fully supported by a collaborative team of tutors and dedicated support staff.

The successful applicant will be required to travel regularly to learners' places of employment to carry out workplace visits and on-site observations. A full, valid UK driving licence is therefore essential for this role.

About Norton Webb

At Norton Webb, we pride ourselves on giving our learners and employers an exceptional service. Demand for our Residential Childcare programmes continues to grow, and these two new positions have been created to help us keep pace with that growth and continue delivering the high standard of support our learners and employers expect.

We are looking for a residential childcare professional with a strong background in a senior role within a residential childcare setting, who is confident training and developing managers within the sector. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge and supporting others to reach their potential, we would love to hear from you.

The role we are looking to fill is specifically within the Residential Childcare sector - young people placed into a safe and stable home when they cannot live with their own families.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
