Division: Networks

Job Location: GBR Belfast - Riverside Tower, GBR Bristol - Assembly, GBR Ipswich - Orion Building, GBR-Birmingham-Three Snowhill, GBR-London-BTHQ One Braham

Advertised Salary: Competitive, with great BT benefits!

About The Role

At BT, data is at the heart of how we improve customer experiences and build smarter networks.

We're looking for a TV Enablement Data Product Owner to join our Networks Data & AI team, supporting the delivery of data products that power some of BT's most important customer services. Working alongside data engineers, architects, scientists and business stakeholders, you'll help turn complex business challenges into clear, deliverable outcomes.

This role sits within our Networks Data & AI function and supports the delivery of data solutions across customer experience, diagnostics, network insights and TV services. You'll own the product backlog for a dedicated engineering squad, ensuring the right work is prioritised and delivered to create value for BT and our customers.

We're looking for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of technology, data and stakeholder engagement. You don't need to have followed a traditional Product Owner career path, but you do need the technical depth and curiosity to understand complex data products and work confidently with engineering teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and maintain the product backlog and roadmap for a Networks Data & AI engineering squad.
  • Translate business needs, challenges and opportunities into clear technical requirements that engineering teams can deliver.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across BT to understand priorities, shape requirements and align expectations.
  • Partner with engineers, architects and delivery teams to ensure work is prioritised effectively and delivers measurable outcomes.
  • Make informed prioritisation decisions, balancing business value, technical constraints and delivery timelines.
  • Help drive the evolution of TV and network-related data products, ensuring data can be transformed into actionable insight and improved customer experiences.
  • Build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams, acting as the bridge between the people requesting work and the teams delivering it.
  • Support the continuous improvement of products, data quality, operational performance and customer outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
