Primary Objective
Set up, operate, and tend to machines that twist yarn together.
Major Functions & Responsibilities
- Creel & Yarn Setup: Load creel with single or double ply yarn packages and insert yarns into twisters
- Machine Operation: Position buggies of yarn at twisters, stage tubes for winding operations, and repair breakouts during runs
- Material Handling: Doff twisted yarn packages and transfer them from the conveyor to buggies/containers
- Production Monitoring: Track output and equipment efficiency while ensuring safe operation
- Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean spindles and unclog equipment to sustain efficiency and meet production targets
- Quality Control: Perform inspection checks using blacklights to assess yarn quality
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace as needed
- Compliance Training: Attend job-related training as required by management

Education & Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Compulsory training completion: All on-the-job and workplace health/safety requirements
- Manufacturing/Carpet Industry Experience highly valued
