Senior Executive Assistant – Private UHNW Family (two roles)
Kensington, London | Permanent | £100,000–£120,000 DOE basic + bonus and benefits
About the roles
Edge Recruitment is appointing two senior Executive Assistants to manage the personal and household affairs of an UHNW family in Kensington. The two roles are designed as a team from the outset: you will share the week with your co-Executive Assistant, cover weekends on a rota and work to shared systems and handovers so that nothing falls between you.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role at the centre of a large household. You will coordinate between the family, the household and security teams and external providers, anticipating needs well ahead of time and making sure everything runs smoothly, privately and to an exceptional standard.
The family is actively looking to the successful candidates to help shape how the role works: improving how requests are routed, managing expectations on turnaround times and proposing practical fixes rather than absorbing problems.
What you will do
- Manage complex, shifting calendars for the principals and their children across school terms, activities and family commitments
- Organise all family and staff travel, including private aviation liaison, chauffeurs, accommodation, itineraries and contingency planning
- Act as the main liaison between the family and the wider staff team, keeping rotas, holidays and responsibilities coordinated
- Work closely with the house team and security on residence readiness, movements and changes of plan
- Coordinate the children's schedules, school logistics and appointments in liaison with the nannies
- Act as the escalation point for weekend and out-of-hours requests within the rota
- Manage gifting, stylists and wardrobe planning, reservations, tickets and ad hoc personal requests
- Hold suppliers and service providers to agreed timelines and standards, and escalate recurring underperformance
- Reconcile monthly card statements, maintain expenditure records and process invoices and payments as directed
- Manage correspondence and inboxes with discretion, keep confidential records that your co-Executive Assistant can pick up, and provide thorough handover notes
- Take on ad hoc projects such as house moves, renovations and events
- Contribute honestly to the ongoing review of the support model, bringing solutions as well as problems
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
