- Ureteric stents clinically indicated due to kidney stones or abdominal/pelvic cancers compressing ureters
- Previous experience with ureteric stents
- Awaiting insertion or replacement of stents
- Ability to give consent
- Ability to interact with study documentation
- Sufficient English to complete study documentations and questionnaires
